Ideas, anyone?

Sheesh, I haven't posted here in ages. (Not really, but it seems that way. xP)

Well, due to personal problems, my computer time has been severly limited: the only computers I can use are the ones at school. The problem is the restrictions are ridiculous.

And it's a shame, cause I really needed assistance with something. That's where I was hoping you guys could help me out.

You see, I have a wonderful friend, and he's been good to me for awhile (I'm also kinda embarassed to admit I'm actually smitten over him ^//^ We've actually gotten alittle closer, alittle past the "just friends-point"). I'd very much like to make him something for Valentines Day.

He loves Legend of Zelda; it's something him and I talk about frequently when we get the chance. (He's also a fan of FLCL~.)

So I was wondering: does anyone have any ideas for something I can make for him?
I was thinking along the lines of something like a pillow, but I'd like to have more option.
Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated! ^^

Thank you very much, and I hope everyone is doing fantastic!

Happy New Years!

I'm gonna be sure to make it a good one! C;<
(Man, I really wish I had my phone charger! xD)

-----------------------------------------------------

Best Things About the New Year:
- Went to Disney World for birthday! -swoons- Saw the Tiana Showboat Jubillee, successfully snuck into Hollywood Studios, rode Tower of Terror for the first time(Favorite ride! Rode it soooo many times!), stayed at an All-Stars Disney resort, and abunch of other things! I'm so, so thankful! x3
- Moved with my father and was reunited with all my old-friends from 7th grade. This was probably the best thing that happened all year! Now I feel as though nothing could stop me! >x3 [I miss Mom, though.]
- Got back into the Sailor Moon fandom (aswell as other cool fandoms).
- PRINCESS AND THE FROG. Nuff' said. :P

Golly, today...

...was sooooooo slow! D:

My father is sick, so I wasn't able to go anywhere. My phone is dead (and my charger is at my mother's house), so I can't call anyone.

My aunt surprised me by coming over and asking me to go with her to see 'The Princess and the Frog'(I influenced her, mwahaha. xD). I was super stoaked! But then when it came close to the showtime, she called me to say that we got the time wrong, and that we wouldn't be able to make that showing, so we'd catch a later one.

So I had to find a way to kill another three hours.

Then when it comes close to the second showtime, I call her and *she's asleep*! (I mentally facefaulted. lol. xD) So I guess that plan was out. I'm really bummed too. I really wanted to see it again. xD

So now I gotta find a way to kee-hall a whole night. I feel like this day was wasted, grah. :/

(-Ponders-) Well, I did get some laundry done, and I spiffied up my room real nice. AND I claimed Tiana/Naveen for [info]fanart50, so that could give me something to do.

I think I'll read acouple PatF fanfic (I swear, this movie...lol), get started with some concept sketches, play alittle Paper Mario, bake some brownies, then watch Beauty and the Beast.

[Wow. THAT didn't take long. Haha.]

Today went fantastic, to some extent. xD

- Made some Cookies & Creme brownies for the Christmas party in Journalism today. Ended up sharing with some other friends outside the class too. I got lot's of compliments on the presentation and taste; I was so happy!

- Christmas party went well too. Lot's of fun with everyone. We ended up watching Sailor Moon R during. (But we were too pre-occupied with our awesome food and Secret Santa gifts to really watch it. xD) My friend Destiny made me a wonderful goodie bag! And it has Pulparindo in it! YUM.

- Got home and got to sleeeeepppppp. That was the best. I haven't gotten sufficent sleep in awhile now, and after baking and walking around so much, I think it was well-deserved. I feel so refreshed!

- Princess and the Frog. Yeah, I'm still obsessing over it, lol. I told my mother and my aunts and cousins about seeing it (So that would be 2 different times, but hey, who's counting? xP). I miss it so badly, I'm so excited to see it again, especially with my wonderful family (my mother especially. We haven't seen each other in awhile and we used to watch Disney movies together when I was smaller, so I think it'll be a sweet experience.)! Then I'm convincing Monsy to go see it too, lol.

Grah. Today felt so much like a Friday. I really don't want to go to school tommorow (Most of my class is going on a field trip anywho). xP
But hey, can't complain. I'll make the best of it. ;P

WAS SO WORTH THE 3-YEAR WAIT!

Lol. I cried and am not ashamed to admit it (friggin' Benjamin, Johnny, Emma, Travis and co. laughed at me though. xD)!
That movie was an absolute masterpiece. A truely trimphant comeback for Disney! Everything was so beautiful to me.

What was also great was when I clapped at the end, people actually clapped with me! I started applause! That was the highlight of my evening.
(I always try to, but I haven't been able to get people to do it along with me.... until now! It's funny cause it was so fitting.)

Please don't hesitate to see this movie guys! It was amazing and will definately not dissapoint!

It's funny. There are so many complications in my life right now (behind-the-scenes) anyway, but I can't help but smile and be happy. I'm so grateful for everything and everyone in my life, I could cry. I know it sounds silly, but I'm sure it doesn't hurt to be silly (I've been told I'm super-goofy on a daily basis).

I got my room all set up on Saturday! I'm so happy on how it came out!
(Though I need to start looking for a good comforter set....)
Princess and the Frog is premiering over here in less than two weeks, and we're getting a group of compadres together to go see it (and maybe even go out-to-eat after). So I'm super stoked for that too!

And hopefully I can go apply for that BBQ restaraunt tommorow. I'd really like the extra money, especially with the holidays coming up.

Anywho, mushy-gushy-spam journal! Sorry for spaming your friends' updates with my silliness. xD

(*BTW, I apoligize for not posting those pictures yet like I said I would. Moving houses+ wonky internet + overall procrastination = XP)

Anywho, 2nd day of a new school. Definately not as fun as the first, but still fun nevertheless (leaving early for an orthodontist appointment was most likely a factor). I got mad love for my chemistry teacher! Really witty and easy-going! xD

Speaking of orthodontist, I got my bottom braces removed today! Woo!
(It feels really, really weird though...)
Hopefully I can get the "full set" removed soon. xP

After the appoinment, we ended up going to my aunt's house to wait for supper. Since it didn't look like food was going to be ready anytime soon, I convinced my uncle to take me job-hunting.

I had originally wanted to work at GameStop, but my family was aganist it. They did have a point though: a teen girl working at such a small store during late hours doesn't exactly seem like the safest situation. So we ended up trying other stores, like Subway and Marble Slab Creamery.

I think I'll end up working at a local B-B-Q resturant in the end. It supposedly has really great benefits, and it looks very engaging! I'm excited! x3

*is feeling super-giddy right about now*

Packed all my bags and I'm ready to go! :)
Have to wake up at 9 though, seeing as the plane takes off at 11. That'll suck. xP (I am one who enjoys her sleep.)

When I come back, I'll be another year older. xD
Then I'll get straight to job applications.
...And a crap-load of make-up work for school. ;_;

But yeah, can't wait! x3 See everyone soon! =D

BTW, the Velma costume-thing today went great, even though I was pretty-much the only one who dressed up today. xD Still, everything went fine, and I got plenty of compliments (and it made striking conversation alot easier than usual xD). I'm very grateful. ^^

Disneyworld trip in 2 days! I'm so flippin' giddy right now. xD
I've been alittle worry-worts about it too. "What is something happens to the plane?!", "What if I lose my luggage?!", "What if I run out of funds?!".

Lawl, but I know in the end it'll all turn out okay. =)

.... *knocks on wood*

Anywho, I'm excited for tommorow too. Gonna wear my Halloween costume (Velma from Scooby-Doo) while everyone else if celebrating Spirit Day. And I even persuaded my buddy, Teddy, into dressing up like Shaggy! Oh the things we will accomplish... *rubs hands sinisterly*

Well, just wanted to post that. Gotta get back to cleaning and my jack-@$$ of a project. ;_;

So I was sitting in my AP-World History class and who-else walks through the door but my friend from my previous highschool!
I found it so funny, seeing as my school is small and kind've out-there. xD
This wasn't the first time this has happened either. I ended up meeting with my wonderful art teacher from 6th grade on my way to my current art class. It was completely random too!
(We ended up catching up. She ended up getting married while I had moved! I was so excited for her! ^_^)

*ahem* But anywho, wanted to thank everyone who offered their ideas in my previous entry. They were very much appreciated! Unfortunately, I didn't end up dressing like anything on that day(aswell as pretty much everyone else in the student body. But there was Batman/Robin and Tom Cruise from "Risky Buisness"! xD). I *did*, however, dress up today for "Nerd Day" *nerd-snort*. (Just kidding.) Didn't take much effort, lawl. <3

And in other news, I finally booked my airfare for WDW, and my Parkhopper ticket has been paid for! (*squee*) I'm sooo happy it's official now! x3

Now all I have to worry about it raising up souvenir money, haha.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out here.

You see, this coming week is the spirit-week at my high-school and, due to poor orginazation on the school's part, we weren't informed until pretty much after school yesterday. Monday is supposed to be "TV/Movie character Day", so I was wanting to do a cosplay.

So my question is, could anybody give me an/some idea(s) for a "spur-of-the-moment" cosplay. Like... an outfit I could put together after shopping at a thrift-store/retail. I'd appreciate it very much!

Thank you!

Good golly, there is so much to be done!

I didn't really realize until today how swamped I am with things to do! (Haha, and even now I'm putting off a Chemistry project that is due tommorow! xD)

School has been killing me lately, not really academically per-say, but just because of the sheer amount of work I need to do. xD Now I have the stress on my shoulder of making and maintaining good grades so that my Disneyworld trip this October will be a done-deal. Not only school, but I have lot's of things to do outside of school and money-worries.

- Make up any and every low score I might have in all my classes
- Maintain passing grades for all classes
- Pay off my Key Club fee ($16 bucks. Ouch. ;_;)
- Save up over $330 for Disney trip (And since the airfare ticket prices recently went up, it might be even more). $60 a weekend, my goal being over $300. $120 saved up now. Can I do it? (Dun Dun Dun...)
- Get my Halloween costume ready. (I decided I'm going to be Velma this Halloween, seeing as the new movie had resparked my interest) Anyone know where I can snag an orange turtle-neck? *Thrifting ahoy!*
- Sew my DIY SailorMoon dress for my birthday

I'll be having some assistance from good ol' Fifth Element, Slayers, and Teen Titans re-runs. Hopefully they'll make things go more smoothly. xD

Sooooo I get up bright-n-early to prepare for prep-day at my school. Everything is going fine, and I'm feeling pretty peppy as I'm getting ready (many thanks go to the tunes of Crystal Kay and UN).

I'm there for awhile, standing in a line along with others(and their parents). After awhile, I finally get to the registration table and, with utter confidence, I give them my form.

Everything is going smoothly until:

"Were you aware that you have a bill of $51.00 for your missing Literature book?"

I swear, it's like someone threw a medicine ball to my chest.

So I calmly explained to them that I did indeed turn in my book last year (I was even checked off 100% during our end-of-the-year bookcheck!). One thing lead to another, and before I knew it, I was in a room *full* of literature textbooks trying to locate the one with my book #. (The term "needle in a haystack", is a serious understatement). Goodness, I swear, if I didn't have some nice friendly student volunteers assisting me, I would've gone insane.

After almost a hour of looking, I come out empty-handed. And I'm told that I can't go any farther into the registration process unless the textbook is paid for.

Now, I'm not one to make-up excuses for my mistakes. I would've surely taken everything with a grain of salt if I knew that I was the one at fault; but this wasn't the case. I kid you not, there was a slew of other students who were going through the same thing as me (and more-than-enough to be more than "coincidence").

It's not that I'm angry at the faculty. I'm just upset by their lack of organization (and how I'm having to pay for it). Really! They could've already assigned it someone else for all I know!

In the end, I'm going to have to pay for the bill out've my own pocket money (I *do* have enough, but that money was supposed to be used for shipping my merchandise out. And even then, that was alot of money. ):[ ) I walked back home, bent-out-of-shape in August heat (and honestly, I didn't even care at that point). I crashed on my bed as soon as I got home.

Lawl. I swear, sleep is the best medicine! As soon as I woke up, some of the stress was automatically lifted off my shoulders. I got my needed things done, watched the always-a-good-time "Bride of Chucky" (with commentary by Jennifer Tilly and co.. I swear, that woman is a goddess!), and ended up getting a book at the bookstore with my family (I got a Dream dictionary, like I've always been wanting, in the clearance section for an awesomely low price. And it even came with a free book of my choice!)

And for some reason, dinner was especially good tonight. =)

I find it a very funny how a day could go from down-right terrible to alright or great. X)
(Don't get me wrong. I'm still ticked about it... xD)

It's official: The apocalypse is coming...

All I have to say is:

WTF, WORLD?!

Good gravy! Random celebrities and generally awesome peoples are dropping like flies all of a sudden. ;_;

(Lawl. I swear, someone out there has a Death Note or something...)

Awwww. As soon as I finish NEXT tonight, I'm gonna watch Breakfast Club.
(You will be missed!)

Sailor Moon, anyone? :P

This is why I hate texting.

PatF - Moonlight Bayou
Goodness gracious. I've always been aganist texting, and I barely started doing it because my mom told me it was avaliable. The incident today only confirms that I should just stick to good-old dialing:

(Warning. Highschool fangirling ahead.)

So, since my friend and I wanted to have alittle meet-up at the movies with our friends (I also was hoping to use it as an excuse to get closer to my friend I happen to have a "crush" (-cue barf-bags-) on), I took the liberty of exchanging digits with him so we could discuss our "plans". (Keep in mind, he has an area code that is different from mine.)

Later after-school, I'm kind've anxious. Then I recieve a text message. I open it and look at the number: a different area code. It must be him! (-squeels-) I get practically giddy and eagerly reply. Then a long conversation starts taking place. I'm feeling very hopeful at that moment.

Then I start noticing something with the messages he's been sending. Lot's of smilies. Really happy sounding. (Not saying I was talking negatively. He just talked "too" cheerful, in a feminine way.) So just to be sure, I ask to make sure I was talking to *him*.

Turns out, it was my buddy, Charlotte, from my art class.

Everything goes down-hill from there. I've never felt so mortified.. XD

UP was a masterpiece...

Holy schnikes, that was an *amazing* movie. I was blown away by everything!
The visuals were absolutely incredible. Everything was so colorful and polished! And don't even get me started on how adorable and hilarious it was!
This movie made me go through a whirlpool emotions. One second I'm wanting to squeel at the perfection and cuteness, another second I'm tearing up at the drama, then I'm tearing up because I laughed so hard. (The dogs, anyone? Friggin' priceless.)

Definately the best Pixar movie of all-time. (Yes, even better than TOY STORY. XD)

... But besides that, I got to meet up with Monsey today. I was so happy I was able to see her! I haven't been able to see her in awhile ever since the move, so it was very refreshing to be able to hang out with her. We went to go see "Up", of course, then we went to the mall and had alittle "spree" at A'gaci. (I swear, I had pretty much the whole store in my dressing room, I was so indecisive. XD)

And now I'm watching the MTV Movie Awards, admiring the beastliness that is Andy Samberg and ranting about how Twilight is winning pretty much every award. (C'mon peoples! Kristen Stewart as best female actor? WTF, peoples?)
